American photographer Tanya Marcuse, most known for her large-scale photographs exploring the imperiled natural world, will share images and commentary from her most recent works Book of Miracles, Woven, and Fallen. Her projects use fantastical imagery and elaborate methods of construction to explore cycles of growth and decay and the dynamic tension between the passage of time and the photographic medium. Her work is in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the George Eastman Museum, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington D. C.
