Great Green Hope for the Urban Blues–Exhibition Opening and Panel Discussion

  • Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center 124 Raymond Avenue Poughkeepsie, NY, 12604 United States (map)

Join the Loeb as we celebrate the opening of Great Green Hope for the Urban Blues, an exhibition which explores the connections between art and mythology of the Hudson Valley two hundred years after the origins of the so-called “Hudson River School” movement.

Artists Tanya Marcuse, Qiana Mestrich, and Lisa Sanditz all live in the Hudson Valley and have explored complex aspects of its beauty in their varied artistic practices. Together they will discuss how their own practices overlap and vary, informed by their personal experiences and choice of media.

A reception in the Loeb’s atrium follows the program, and the galleries will remain open until 5pm.
